I want to share my wonderful impressions of the clinic! In June 2024, my husband, a citizen of Italy, came to the clinic with a weight of 126 kg, type 2 diabetes, polycythemia (which was discovered during tests), high blood pressure, fatty liver disease, chronic hepatitis, constant headaches, lack of energy, and fatigue. We were received by excellent doctors, Sergey Olegovich Trepet and Taier Seithalimovich Emir-Useinov. They consulted on bariatric surgery, explained all possible options and consequences of such an intervention. After thorough tests, my husband agreed to the surgery. Given his difficult emotional nature and the language barrier, the doctors faced challenges, as he constantly demanded attention and couldn’t tolerate pain. Special thanks to Dr. Taier, who was extremely attentive, tactful, and responded very quickly to all requests. A wonderful doctor and a great person! The clinic’s staff, doctors, and nurses were excellent. The modern rooms were very convenient and well thought out. Upon discharge, we received recommendations for nutrition and medications. Unfortunately, at home, within 4 days, my husband started feeling unwell, couldn’t eat or drink, spent all his time lying down and losing strength. He lost about 10 kg in the week after the surgery. I contacted the doctors again and explained the symptoms. They recommended we come back to the hospital the next morning. Later, we found out that this was ketoacidosis. Our second hospital stay lasted three days, during which treatment was prescribed to bring him out of this state. Gradually, he began eating and drinking again. To be honest, the first month was especially difficult with pain, spasms, and vomiting due to not following the regimen. But he gradually learned to eat the required portions, understood which foods didn’t cause discomfort, and started learning to live and eat in a new way. Today, three months have passed since the surgery. The result: -20 kg, average blood glucose 6.0 (he stopped taking diabetes medication about 1.5 months after the surgery), shortness of breath disappeared, no more headaches, he became energetic and mobile. He didn’t follow the doctors’ recommendations for nutrition but learned to eat the amount of food his small stomach allows. Appetite disappeared and tastes changed. He became more alive, mobile, and joyful. This surgery helped him live fully. He never regretted his decision. Hello, I want to share my story. After I turned 35, I started gaining weight rapidly. I would lose some weight, but then I would gain it back, even more than before! The excess weight started interfering with my normal life. Health problems began: shortness of breath, high blood sugar, and high blood pressure. In reality: 36 years old, 126 kg before visiting the hospital. 9 months after the surgery – minus 39 kg (even though I haven’t fully followed the recommendations), stretch marks have almost completely disappeared, I stopped snoring, I don’t feel hungry, I eat 5 times a little bit (but I eat everything, and I can drink), sugar has returned to normal (it was 0.3 higher), my condition is indescribable, it’s the moment when I can cut my toenails without problems! Many tests and exams were done, there are many reasons why you could be refused surgery based on medical criteria, so don’t wait until old age, the earlier you do it, the sooner you’ll feel the results. Don’t even think twice; if you have the means and excess weight, you should be on the operating table. The pleasant feeling when you stop caring about food and the fat and stretch marks disappear from your body. Unfortunately, I don’t understand how to add photos(!? People, if you're considering bariatrics – only here! I'm happy with everything from A to Z. Rooms with air conditioning, shower, and toilet. There's a buffet on the floor. All the doctors and nurses are polite, they smile, everything is handled carefully, and it’s all clean and smells nice. I had a sleeve gastrectomy, and in 4 days, I lost 4 kg! Dr. Tayir is the one who’s guiding me, and even for tests, I was taken by Dr. Tayir, no queues, no panic, all the equipment is modern, and you don’t need to buy anything – no jars, no napkins, everything is provided. I never wrote reviews before, but this time I just couldn’t hold back. My feelings of gratitude surpass just saying "Thank you!!!". Let me briefly tell you about my stay at the hospital. I arrived on 05.05.23, the department had been renovated, everything was in place for a quick and comfortable recovery. The rooms were clean and cozy, I’ll add photos. The staff was very good, providing moral and physical support during the 5 days of this difficult operation, both before and after. I came in for a planned "gastric resection" operation. A huge thanks to Dr. Tair, who can be said to have "adopted" me from the first moments of my stay at the hospital. He was with me everywhere, running around like with a small child, taking me to various departments for exams and in further rehabilitation. The operation was performed by the head of the department, Sergey Olegovich Trepet, whom I also say a huge THANK YOU to. He managed to instill trust in me during the consultation. I want to briefly share my victory over excess weight. My body shape has always been far from ideal, but my weight never exceeded 65 kg, which I felt fairly comfortable with.
