Bariatrics is a modern branch of surgery specializing in the treatment of obesity. This is a reliable way to lose excess weight once and for all, especially in cases where diet and exercise do not give a long-term effect!
Our bariatric center performs several types of surgical interventions:
Type of Surgery | Description | Cost (USD) |
---|---|---|
Gastric Banding | A band is placed around the upper part of the stomach, dividing it into two sections. This causes the upper section to fill quickly, leading to a feeling of fullness. | 2800 |
Biliopancreatic Diversion | A portion of the stomach is removed, forming a tube. The duodenum is bypassed, and the stomach is connected to the small intestine. | 6000 |
Partial Bypass | A section of the small intestine responsible for absorbing fats is bypassed. Best suited for mild obesity with metabolic disorders. | 5200 |
Sleeve Gastrectomy | The most popular procedure. The lateral stretched part of the stomach is removed, reducing ghrelin (hunger hormone) production, forming a narrow tube. | 3600 |
Gastric Bypass | A complex surgery that reduces stomach volume and reconstructs the small intestine. | 4500 |
Abdominoplasty | Removes excess skin and fat, making the abdomen flat and firm. | 4000 |
Intragastric Balloon | A silicone balloon filled with saline is temporarily placed in the stomach. | 1900 |
Mini Gastric Bypass | A universal bariatric procedure recommended for obesity and metabolic syndrome. | 4500 |
SADI-S | A variation of biliopancreatic diversion combining sleeve gastrectomy and malabsorption. | 5000 |

Bariatria is a modern branch of surgery specializing in the treatment of obesity. Today it is considered one of the most effective in the fight against excess weight. With the help of bariatric surgery, you can significantly improve your health, improve the quality of life and increase its duration. This is a reliable way to lose excess weight once and for all, especially in cases where diets and exercises do not give a long-term effect!
Obesity is the scourge of modern society. The problem of excess weight has worried people for all ages, but over the past few decades, its prevalence has reached the scale of a global epidemic. The statistics are relentless - more than 30% of the world's inhabitants are overweight. And no matter how much we persuade ourselves with the phrase that “there should be many good people”, we should finally recognize the fact that obesity is a disease that leads to a decrease in the quality and life expectancy.
Literally all organs and systems suffer from excess weight. The first and main blow is taken by the cardiovascular system. Weight gain inevitably entails an increase in blood volume. As a result, blood pressure rises, which means that the load on the heart also increases. The organs of the gastrointestinal tract are also affected. Obesity is a proven and well-studied risk factor for diabetes. Following the cardiovascular and digestive systems, the musculoskeletal system and the reproductive system begin to suffer. Like a domino principle, a destructive avalanche of excess weight disrupts the work of one system after another, triggering the mechanism of destruction of the body. In cases where obesity poses a serious threat to the patient's health, and conservative methods have exhausted themselves, bariatrics comes to the rescue.
