Surgery and hospital stay

- hospital stay — from 3 days under medical supervision.
Recovery after surgery
- standing and walking — on the day of surgery or the following day;
- discharge — after stabilization of the patient’s condition;
- return to office-based work — within 10–14 days;
- light physical activity (walking) — from the first days;
- exercise without abdominal strain — after 4–6 weeks;
- full physical activity — after 2–3 months (with physician approval).
